bez. unten links: E. Grube; Historie. Stadtansicht von Frankfurt. Auf den Wiesen des Ostparks eine zahlreiche Menschenmenge, gruppiert um zwei rote Fahnen. Von rechts naht ein neuer Zug, in dem eine schwarz-rot-goldene Fahne getragen wird. Im Hintergrund der Main und Industriebauten.
Provenance
Some of the lost paintings were burnt in the museum building; some fell victim to the bombing raid in March 1944, already packed in a transport van for relocation.
