Description
In the foreground, travellers on stretcher and horse; the tori of the nearby temple, trees, houses and passers-by disappear in the mist. Sheet 43 of the Tokaido series. Ichiryusai Hisoshige I lived from 1797-1858. He came from the school of Toyohiro and was strongly influenced by Hokusai.
