bez. unten rechts: M. Bode; Historie. Stadtansicht von Frankfurt. Das Hauptgebäude der Brauerei, halb von vorne gesehen, in Flammen. Links davon die Spritzen aufgestellt. Auf dem Dach des niedrigeren Nebengebäudes rechts Leute mit Handspritzen. Im Vordergrund Volksmenge.
Provenance
Some of the lost paintings were burnt in the museum building; some fell victim to the bombing raid in March 1944, already packed in a transport van for relocation.
